Ce n’Est Q’un Début is the first album by Maurizio Dami A.K.A. Alexander Robotnick with which he obtained many awards from the world of disco music. Almost 40 years after the first release it sounds still fresh and original. One of the songs included is Problèmes d’Amour which has become a cult track for many DJs of at least 2 generations. Its bass line made with the not yet famous TB303 has been sampled by many artists such as Groove Armada in their track “In my Bones”.
Dance Boy Dance is another cult track that got noticed when miss Kittin included it in her compilation Radio Caroline.
Another interesting track is “African Kola” featuring the sax of Stefano Cantini, a well known Italian jazz player.
